Welcome to the Boo Brothers Website

Thanks for stopping by, or did those nice fellows at the morgue drop you off? They have such a dead sense of humor! Stay for a bit and check us out, we always enjoy adding another corpse to our collection.

Ok ghost and ghouls, start unpacking those old bones, press those old sheets and dig up an old friend. The countdown has begun, 30 days till that sweet and scary day of the year. So practice your Howls, and make sure you can hit that blood curdling pitch when you scream. This time of year it is scare or be scared, no prize for second best. Scare your mom, scare your dad, scare the kids and most definitely scare your friends! The month of October is like a free pass to scare! Just remember the more you scare the better you will feel, yet be on the lookout as those you have scared will definitely want to scare you back! Just remember scare often and have a great time and a safe Halloween!!

So now are you one of those parents that refuse to hand out those sweet delicious chocolate bars!?! Instead you do the proper thing and hand out tooth brushes and floss, and you wonder why I toilet papered your house each year? So here are a few ideas that might save you some clean up the day after Halloween. We get about 30 to 40 visitors a year, parents and kids; yes I do have a very cool yard setup each year. Now in my time of trick and treating I have gotten the infamous tooth brush and floss, which works great as trip wires, other people I have known have handed out bottle water, soda, Halloween bags which included flyers for their business, and flashlights. Even with a cool yard I still buy a couple of bags of candy, well when your waiting for those kids you do kind of get a little hungry, but as a little safety concern we have been buying a can of the glow sticks. We get about 50 in a can which you can make either bracelets or putting a couple together and make a nice glow in the dark necklace. Look around your party stores and you will find these pretty easy, or check on Ebay. Halloween is a fun and exciting time of year, for not just kids but adults too! So if you’re a fuddy duddy then hand out your floss, but don’t shed one tear if you find that sacred troll village in your front yard wrapped in tp. You have been warned by Big Boo!

So you have a few extra dollars in your Halloween fund this year, what to do so many choices. The Fright Catalog is perhaps the evilest of all places to visit. They have stuff that will chill you to the bone! This is one of my favorite places to get ideas for decorations and costumes. I usually buy one or two items a year to add to my collection. Their props are well made and durable. Check them out and you will not be disappointed!!!

If you plan on having a Halloween party every year, those hard plastic, hard foam and tough latex rats, bats, gargoyles, and evil creatures are always a must have. These are pretty cheap and will last for several years. Skeletons are one the best props out there! You can go out and spend some bucks on these, but those $10.00 plastic skeletons are fantastic! It is the gift that keeps on giving year after year! Hit the thrift stores, grabs some clothes and dress them up to your hearts content! We have designed entire scenes with just a couple of these cheap skeletons. They are somewhat poseable, yet if you need them in a certain position, the hot glue gun will be your best friend! Use the low temp glue so that you can peel the glue off and repose for next year.

I just love the month of September! All the stores start bringing out there Halloween decorations and costumes. LTM party sores are starting to stock up on their stuff, Spencer’s should have their stuff up in the next couple of weeks, and last but not least Wal-Mart, K-Mart and Target. Remember you don’t have to spend a lot of money on decorations to have a great party.
